A widely-known fact is that getting approved for Social Security Disability is a long and drawn-out process. The last thing you would want to do is spend a lot of time pouring over paperwork and waiting, only to be denied over an administrative error on your behalf. One of the reasons that the process takes so long is because the Social Security Administration has had a significant amount of fraudulent claims in the past. Such claims have cost the SSA a great deal of money and time, exhausting their resources.
